Last summer was spent working on the yard. We wanted to use the pasture that is east of the house as part of our yard. Well, it turned into every weekend we spent working in the yard. And it was so much fun. The girls could roam and run, and get as dirty as the wanted and let me tell you they did. And they were such good helpers, even the then 2 yr old got a new pair of leather gloves and went to work. And we got so much done. It turned out really nice, although we aren't finished with it yet.
The big purchase was our new swing set. Matt couldn't just settle for one from Walmart. Oh no, he had to go to Salt Lake and order one, and he couldn't just settle for what they offered, oh no, he had to make adjustments and make things bigger and higher. But let me tell you, the playhouse being 7ft off the ground, gives you quite a view. And the 12ft swings are so fun , that me and Matt play out there as much as the girls. It is the one purchase we have never regretted. And with the winter (what winter?) being so mild we have got to use it all year, who knew!!
Apart from that there was Lake Powell which I have already posted about. And the usual the 4th of July family campout at the parents house, the 24th of July rodeo and parade, the trips to the water park.
